Modernization has begun at key food centers in the Novgorod, Okulovsky and Monstrous districts of the Novgorod region. The work will be carried out at 330 kV substations: Yugo-Zapadnaya, Okulovskaya and Ruchey.
The new devices will provide protection against short circuits of power equipment of substations and 110 kV transmission lines "Okulovskaya – Bor", "Okulovskaya – Vargusovo". The reliability of power supply to more than 500 thousand residents of the Novgorod region, as well as such large industrial facilities as the Okulovskaya Paper Mill, the Oktyabrskaya Railway, the Okulovsko–Borovichi industrial hub, oil pumping stations and the producer of mineral fertilizers "Akron" depends on their uninterrupted operation.
Reliable operation of RPA systems prevents damage to equipment and improves the supply of electricity to consumers.
