The Kurganmashzavod of the High-Precision Complexes holding sent TM-140 tracked all-terrain vehicles to help the settlements of the Trans-Urals affected by the flood. Special equipment delivers water and food to the villages of the Kurgan region and will be able to safely evacuate their residents if the flood poses a threat to people's lives.

Since the first days of the disaster, Kurganmashzavod has been helping the special services of Kurgan and flood victims. Currently, a difficult situation has developed in the villages of Peredergina and Koshkino – the water has come close to the houses of local residents. TM-140 floating all-terrain vehicles are on duty in villages to help people cope with the flood.

TM-140 is a high–terrain snowmobile designed specifically for off-road driving. The car has an extreme cross-country ability. It can overcome water obstacles at a speed of 4 km/h and rough terrain with rises of 35 degrees and above.

Another feature of the all–terrain vehicle is its modular design. Thanks to this, the all-terrain vehicle can be equipped with a transport platform or an autonomous residential module. The load capacity of the TM-140 exceeds four tons, the range is 550 km. High performance and versatility allow the all-terrain vehicle to perform tasks in difficult conditions and during natural disasters.

"Rostec produces a wide range of special equipment. Among our developments there are robotic machines, two-link swamp walkers and floating all-terrain vehicles. For example, TM-140, which is designed for the transportation of shift shifts, exploration parties, emergency crews, cargo and equipment in the Far North and complete off-road conditions. The characteristics of the machine allow it to be used in emergency situations, including during floods. We have sent several such vehicles to help the flood–affected regions of Kurgan," Rostec reported.

The factory workers also helped to strengthen the dam on the Tobol embankment. In addition, the company's special equipment – MKSM-800, tractors, loaders and buses – are immediately sent to the emergency department and the city administration in case of emerging needs.

"We immediately offered assistance to the city and regional administrations in flood control, as soon as it became clear that an unprecedented volume of water was expected. Specialists, equipment, machinery – we send everything at the first request," said Igor Giske, General Director of Kurganmashzavod, Chairman of the Kurgan Branch of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia.
