Russia's Electronic Instrument Research and Development Institute (NIIEP) operating as part of Rostec's Technodinamika Holding, the management company of Scientific-Production Concern Mechanical Engineering (SPC Techmash), plans to launch mass production of solutions for combating COVID-19 in early 2021.
The recirculating irradiator designed by NIIEP uses the UV technology for disinfecting air and surfaces. The solution can compete against counterparts of the leading foreign and domestic manufacturers in terms of estimated performance.
