First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov instructed to create a single service for the use of charging stations for electric vehicles. The Cabinet of Ministers reports this in its telegram channel following the results of a meeting on the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

A.Belousov also instructed to work out a minimum set of requirements for national charging station services, which should cover most Russian regions.

These requirements, in particular, include the need to track the status of the station and individual connectors in real time, identify stations in mapping services, and the ability to receive feedback on the operation of stations from other users.

During the discussion, A.Belousov stressed that due to the promising growth of charging stations in the next few years, it is necessary to work out the issue of creating a digital environment that will make the use of electric vehicles as efficient and affordable as possible.

Currently, there are 1.15 thousand fast EHS in the Russian Federation. The fleet of electric vehicles in the country has increased to more than 40 thousand vehicles. In the next 6 years, the number of charging stations should grow by more than 10 times.
