Australian Equiem acquired Polish IT platform SpaceOS

Equiem, an Australian company providing services to tenants of office buildings, has acquired the Polish IT platform SpaceOS. This is reported in the Equiem press release.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The combined company will continue to operate under the Equiem brand. 

The deal attracted investors such as Hitachi Ventures, BeyondBuild, German developer MOMENI, Caleus and others. Strategic support from these companies will strengthen Equiem's global leadership in the development of smart construction technologies and workplace management software. Investments will be used to integrate technologies 

SpaceOS to the EquiemOne platform, which will expand the set of global benchmarking functions and Equiem's presence in 25 countries, as well as increase revenue by 20 percent. 

Equiem is positioned as one of the leading real estate-focused startups under the "PropTech" program, designed to create a comprehensive vertical operating system for workplace management, which attracted investments of $4.5 billion in the first quarter.

SpaceOS develops software for workplace management and provides a technology platform to tenants, offering booking of conference rooms and desks, access control, air quality monitoring, parking management, etc. The headquarters is located in Warsaw (Poland).

Equiem is a company that develops platforms for managing smart buildings and means of visualizing operations. In the context of current digitalization, the office space market requires reporting in a digital environment to consolidate real-time real estate management information. The headquarters is located in Melbourne (Australia).
