Cargo turnover of Russian seaports in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 214.3 million tons, a decrease of 3.3% year-on-year. This is reported on the website of the Association of Commercial Seaports.

The volume of transshipment of bulk carriers decreased by 2.5% to 103.5 million tons. Including the volume of coal transshipment decreased by 15.2% to 43.4 million tons, ferrous metals – by 5.3% to 4.9 million tons, ores – by 4.4% to 2.2 million tons.

Grain transshipment increased by 13.1% to 18 million tons, cargo in containers – by 11.9% to 13.6 million tons, mineral fertilizers – by 37.9% to 10.2 million tons.

The volume of bulk cargo transshipment decreased by 4.1% to 110.8 million tons, including petroleum products – by 16.5% to 29.7 million tons, food cargo – by 1.3% to 1.7 million tons. The volume of crude oil transshipment increased by 0.7% to 69 million tons, liquefied natural gas – by 4.6% to 9.4 million tons.
