Infrastructure for transporting commercial oil to the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean (ESPO) trunkline system is being created at the Chayandinskoye (Chayanda) field, according to a statement by Russia's Main State Expert Appraisal Department (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia).

The project documentation approved by the appraisal department envisages the construction of a pressure oil pipeline intended for transporting commercial oil from Chayanda. The pressure oil pipeline being just over 70 km long will connect the oil rim of Chayanda with the ESPO trunkline system.

The Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field discovered in Lensky districts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in 1983 is classified as a large field, with in-place reserves of 200 million tonnes of oil, 426 billion cubic meters of gas. PJSC Gazprom holds the hydrocarbon production license, the oil rim is being developed by Gazpromneft-Zapolyarye.
