FESCO Transportation Group has delivered the first reefer container connected to the perishables storage temperature control system from Moscow to Vladivostok, the company informed.

The container with cargoes requiring temperature control during transportation was sealed using an electronic navigation seal with thermal sensors. The seal enabled the sealing operator to track the temperature of the cargoes along the whole transportation route, with real-time transmission of data to the information system of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor).

FESCO Transportation Group is one of the leading public transportation and logistics companies in Russia with assets in port, rail and integrated logistics businesses. Benefiting from a diversified asset portfolio, FESCO can provide door-to-door logistics solutions and control all steps of the intermodal transportation value chain.

The Group owns the Commercial Port of Vladivostok, rail operator Transgarant, and container platform operator Russkaya Troika. FESCO manages approximately 40,000 containers, a fleet of about 6,000 container platforms, as well as 19 transport vessels, mostly deployed through own sea service lines.
