Gazprombank, VEB.RF, EXIAR to consider financing modernization of Uzbekistan's gas transportation system

Gazprombank, VEB.RF, the Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) have signed a multilateral agreement with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Uztransgaz JSC to consider the possibility of providing up to $618 million in a syndicated loan to finance the modernization of the gas transportation system of Uzbekistan, Gazprombank informed.

The parties will consider the possibility of concluding a transaction on PPP or project financing terms.
