In Tomsk, in 2022, it is planned to relocate citizens from 961 residential premises located in emergency houses. In the region, within the framework of the national project "Housing and urban environment", the implementation of the program for the resettlement of emergency housing stock, recognized as such until January 1, 2017, continues. This is reported by the Ministry of Construction of Russia.

"In order to support the industry, the Government of the Russian Federation has developed a very extensive set of measures. This work continues on a daily basis and is adjusted in accordance with the situation in the regions. These tools are designed to help the regions fully fulfill their existing obligations under social programs and open up new areas of development," said Alexey Yeresko, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, quoted in the message.

In total, houses with an area of 129.12 thousand m2 were recognized as emergency on the territory of the Tomsk region until January 1, 2017. Since 2019, uninhabitable buildings with an area of 44.24 thousand m2 have been resettled, housing conditions have been improved by 2559 people.
