Consumer prices in the Russian Federation for the week from February 20 to 26 increased by 0.13%, from the beginning of February – by 0.56%, from the beginning of the year – by 1.42%. This was reported by Rosstat.
From February 20 to 26, prices for beef increased by 0.6%, lamb and table salt – by 0.5%, boiled sausages, canned fruit and berry for baby food, granulated sugar - by 0.4%, sausages, sausages, semi-smoked and boiled–smoked sausages, butter, pasta and vodka - by 0.3%, frozen fish, pasteurized milk, canned vegetables and milk powder mixtures for baby food, wheat flour and vermicelli – by 0.2%, margarine, hard, semi-hard and soft cheeses, buckwheat groats, bread – by 0.1%.
Fruit and vegetable products rose in price by 0.6%, including tomatoes – by 2.2%, bananas – by 0.9%, onions – by 0.8%, apples – by 0.3%. Cucumbers fell in price by 1%, potatoes – by 0.4%.
Prices decreased: black tea by 0.4%, chicken eggs and rice – by 0.2%, chicken meat, canned meat for baby food, biscuits - by 0.1%.
Of non-food products, prices increased, in particular, for chipboard and oriented chipboard by 0.8%, for edged boards, T-shirts, men's T–shirts - by 0.3%, for cigarettes with a filter - by 0.2%.
Smartphones fell in price by 1.1%, electric vacuum cleaners – by 0.4%, televisions – by 0.2%.
