Consumer prices in the Russian Federation for the week from April 9 to April 15 increased by 0.12%, from the beginning of April – by 0.29%, from the beginning of the year – by 2.25%. This was reported by Rosstat.
During the week, margarine rose in price by 0.5%, lamb, butter, sterilized milk, rye bread and granulated sugar - by 0.4%, beef – by 0.3%, boiled sausages, sunflower oil, pasteurized milk, sour cream, biscuits, wheat bread and rice – by 0.2%.
Vermicelli became cheaper by 0.6%, chicken meat – by 0.2%, pork and pasta – by 0.1%.
Prices for carrots increased by 1.8%, potatoes rose by 1%, apples and bananas – by 0.5%. Cucumbers fell by 2.4%, onions – by 0.8%, tomatoes – by 0.6%.
Of non-food products, edged boards became more expensive by 0.6%, chipboard and oriented chipboard – by 0.2%, cigarettes with a filter, domestic passenger cars – by 0.1%.
Prices decreased: for electric vacuum cleaners by 0.6%, televisions – by 0.4%, passenger cars of foreign brands and smartphones – by 0.2%.
Prices for gasoline increased by 0.3%, diesel fuel – by 0.2%.
Economy class air travel has risen in price by 3.9%.
