Consumer prices in the Russian Federation for the week from May 30 to June 5 increased by 0.21%, from the beginning of June – by 0.15%, from the beginning of the year – by 2.48%. This was reported by Rosstat.
From May 30 to June 5, prices increased: for chicken meat – by 2.4%, lamb and granulated sugar - by 1.4%, canned meat for baby food – by 1.1%, rice – by 0.5%, sunflower oil – by 0.3%, butter, canned vegetables for baby food, salt cookware, bread and bakery products made of wheat flour of various varieties, pasta made of wheat flour of the highest grade – by 0.2%, frozen fish, sour cream and vodka – by 0.1%.
Prices for fruit and vegetable products decreased by 1.6%. Tomatoes fell by 8.7%, cucumbers – by 5.1%, bananas – by 4.4%, onions - 3.7%. At the same time, potato prices increased by 4.3%, carrots – by 4.1%, table beets – by 3.8%, white cabbage – by 2.4%, apples – by 1.5%.
Prices decreased: for chicken eggs – by 1.2%, canned fruit and berry for baby food and black tea – by 0.4%, sausages, sausages, pasteurized milk, cookies, vermicelli and wheat flour – by 0.3%.
