During the business meeting, the parties discussed further joint steps for the development of the Master Deep and the DAAZ Industrial Park. "Our goal is to put the Dimitrovgrad site in order, to place new businesses here. Now we are working to ensure that, in a certain sense, it becomes the competence center for automotive components of our country. KAMAZ is also interested in transferring part of its production from Naberezhnye Chelny to Dimitrovgrad. <...>," said Sergey Kogogin, CEO of KAMAZ PJSC, whose words are quoted in the message.

Within the framework of the development project of the DEEP Master, work will continue on the reconstruction and modernization of the areas of the Dimitrovgrad Automobile Assembly Plant to accommodate new production facilities in them. It is also planned to reconstruct the existing and create a new transport and engineering infrastructure. In 2022-2023, the Ulyanovsk Region, represented by the Regional Development Corporation and KAMAZ, plan to invest more than 200 million rubles for the modernization of industrial buildings and the creation of new platforms for investors. Most of these funds will be invested by KAMAZ.

Recall that the site of the Dimitrovgrad Industrial Park "Master" was formed in 2018 on the empty areas of the Dimitrovgrad Automobile Assembly Plant. Its main task was to diversify the economy of the monotown of Dimitrovgrad. The founders of the park are a subsidiary of KAMAZ – Kama Industrial Park "Master" (KIP "Master") and the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation. The regional government takes an active part in the implementation of the project, including providing financial support.
