According to the results of the implementation of the energy saving program in 2023, RN-Yuganskneftegaz saved 398 million kWh of electricity. The effect in monetary terms amounted to about 1.8 billion rubles. This was reported by Rosneft.
The savings from the introduction of energy-efficient electric motors at the mining fund exceeded 42 million kWh. The company also reduced energy consumption by another 7.5 million kWh due to the upgrade of centrifugal sectional pumps in the reservoir pressure maintenance system.
In addition, as a result of the modernization of the lighting system, RN-Yuganskneftegaz replaced over 90% of lighting devices with LED ones. The effect of the implementation of this program amounted to more than 30 million kWh. Greenhouse gas emissions in electricity consumption were also reduced by 3%.
