Rostec State Corporation gained control in the sub-sanctioned Eurofinance Mosnarbank. The Kommersant newspaper writes about this with reference to Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev.
The transaction does not involve a sale, but a transfer of control in the bank, so it did not require funds from Rostec. It is assumed that Rostec received 50% plus one share of the bank, and the rest will remain with the Venezuelan National Development Fund (FONDEN S.A.).
Rostec State Corporation is the largest industrial company in Russia. In 2022, it celebrates 15 years since its foundation. It unites about 700 scientific and industrial organizations in 60 regions of the country. The key areas of activity are aircraft engineering, radio electronics, medical technologies, innovative materials, etc. The corporation's products are supplied to more than 100 countries around the world. Almost a third of the company's revenue is provided by the export of high-tech products.
