Rostelecom acquires 51% in BIG3 as a provider of the wastes processing automation, mass media informed.
The value of transaction is equal to 1.27bn rub. The Company has signed contract on 1% and call options for 50% to be executed in IH 2021.
BIG3 will enter into Rostelecom Group as a subsidiary under the management of own top managers. The transaction is executed through Bashinformsvyaz as the Rostelecom’s sub (1%). Now 37.5% in BIG3 are held by A.Sedov, 36.5 и 25% by two private persons, respectively.
Rostelecom (INN 7707049388) is the national telecoms operator. In April 2011 Rostelecom took over several com companies including CenterTelecom, Sibirtelecom, Dalsvyaz, Uralsvyazinform, VolgaTelecom, NWT, UTK, and Dagsvyazinform. The total length of the main communication network is 500ths km. Rostelecom has 43 million users.
The authorized capital is equal to 6.961bn rub. split in 2784480101 stocks. The government is a major shareholder of Rostelecom. The stocks of the Company are traded on MICEX and US OTCQX.
The 2019 net profit moved up 10% to 16.474 billion rub. from 15.012bn rub. prior year; revenues -- 5% to 337.421 bn rub. from 320.239bn rub.; OIBDA increased 6% to 106.526 bn rub. from 100.9 bn rub.
