Smartphone sales in Russia in the first 11 months of 2023 increased by 28.5% to 27 million devices compared to a year earlier. This is stated in the MTS message.
According to MTS analysts, the main factor influencing sales growth was the increased marketing activity of retailers.
During the specified period, smartphones were sold for a total amount of 588 billion rubles. MTS analysts note that similar sales figures in units were recorded for the last time in 2020 – then sales amounted to 27 million smartphones in 11 months.

MTS net profit for the first 9 months of 2023 increased by 41.8% to 38.5 billion rubles from 27.1 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue increased by 12.2% to 446 billion rubles from 397.4 billion rubles, adjusted OIBDA increased by 8% to 182.2 billion rubles from 168.7 billion rubles.
