In just 10 months of 2023, the volume of communication services amounted to RUB 2.11 trillion, which is 8.8% higher than the result of the same period in 2022. Tariffs for telecommunications services for individuals increased by 7.7% in October compared to October 2022. Compared to the previous month, tariffs increased by 1.3%. In general, in January-October 2023, the increase in tariffs for individuals amounted to 8.2%.
The volume of software development services in October amounted to RUB 298.4 billion, an increase of 43.6% compared to October 2022 and a decrease of 22.1% compared to the previous month. In general, over 10 months, this figure increased by 12.4% compared to a year earlier to 2.43 trillion rubles. The volume of other IT services in October increased by 66.7% compared to October 2022 to 121 billion rubles and decreased by 11.1% compared to the previous month. The growth of this indicator in January-October amounted to 40.6% compared to the same indicator in 2022.
According to the results of 11 months, the number of domain names in the national zone .ru exceeded 5.28 million for the first time since 2017, when a historical maximum of 5.5 million was recorded. In November, the Ministry of Finance began an expert discussion on the concept of the Digital Code, which should systematize Russian legislation in the field of IT and telecommunications. The Ministry's concept covers both digital technologies (cloud services, big data, etc.) and communications. The code will apply to government agencies, state and other organizations, as well as individuals and companies, including those that use state information systems.
