The AK&M rating agency regards MMK's financial statements as the best among enterprises in the metallurgical sector. The Company discloses information on sustainable development on the pages of the single annual report and in the tables of the detailed digital data collection (ESG Data Pack). The collection of tables intended for analysts can be considered as the best example of statistical information disclosure. The data presented in the ESG Data Pack reflects the main non-financial information over the past 5 years, taking into account the wishes of all stakeholders. Most sections provide not only consolidated data on the group of companies, but also separately on the main production asset – PJSC MMK.

Among the large-scale sustainable development projects, the report pays special attention to creating safe working conditions and improving the culture of safe production, creating an environment for the implementation of internal and external capabilities of employees, as well as reducing environmental impact. The perimeter of the company's special concern is the social and environmental situation in the city of Magnitogorsk. The report focuses on shaping Magnitogorsk's future through MMK's systemic contribution to the city's development. The year-round urban resort "Attraction", which is being created in Magnitogorsk, deserves special attention. It provides for the creation of a modern space for recreation and sports.

The MMK report features a deep understanding of today's challenges and a description of the company's position on the most difficult issues. Among them is the protection of atmospheric air. The report shows the extensive work aimed at reducing emissions into the atmosphere. A number of projects are being implemented here to modernize gas purification plants, reconstruct coke-chemical production, and make widespread use of dust suppression systems. The document contains a description of the projects and their expected impact, as well as emission control mechanisms.

In solving the tasks, the group relies on the creative potential of the workforce, creating favorable conditions for this. For example, the system described in the report to support employees' ideas on energy efficiency deserves attention, designed to increase staff engagement in improving energy efficiency.

The report complies with both the main international standards and national methodological recommendations developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The document is well structured, has easy navigation, and is presented in a restrained, well-thought-out design that helps to perceive a large amount of information.

The rating of non-financial reporting was assigned based on the methodology adopted by the AK&M Rating Agency.
