The brands of M.Video and Eldorado stores will be merged. Now the stores will be called "Eldorado + M.Video", such points have already been launched in Togliatti and Ryazan. The Kommersant newspaper writes about this.

"The combination of brands in a number of areas, including IT, logistics and marketing, has already contributed to economic efficiency and investment optimization," explained the Chief Operating Officer of the M. Group.Video-Eldorado" Sergey Lee, whose words are quoted by the newspaper.

Recall that M.Video bought "Eldorado" in March 2018 for 45.5 billion rubles. 

Group "M.Video-Eldorado" (PJSC "M.Video") is a leading Russian company in the field of e–commerce and retail of electronics and household appliances, combining the M.Video and Eldorado brands. As of December 31, 2021, the group unites 599 stores under the M.Video brand, 659 stores under the Eldorado brand in more than 370 cities of the Russian Federation. Currently, the company's shares are traded on the Moscow Stock Exchange (ticker: MVID), 23.8% of the company's shares are in free circulation. Along with this 60.4% of the authorized capital of PJSC "M.Video" is directly or indirectly controlled by Said Gutseriev, 15% belongs to Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH (Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH) and another 0.8% of the shares are held by LLC MVM, a 100% subsidiary of PJSC M.Video".

Net loss of the group "M.Video-Eldorado" according to IFRS in the first half of 2022 increased by 31.1% to 3.75 billion rubles. The group's EBITDA increased by 51.1% to RUB 7 billion, revenue - by 1.5% to RUB 218.82 billion.
