Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed resolutions on the expansion of two special economic zones. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The boundaries of the current special economic zone in the Kaluga region will be expanded at the expense of sites located in the Babyninsky municipal district. It is planned to open three pharmaceutical production facilities here. The total investment in their construction will amount to about 17.2 billion rubles.

The Lipetsk SEZ will also be expanded to include a new territory in Lipetsk. There, on the site of the former tractor plant, it is planned to create a production of agricultural machinery and trailers. At the same time, all the necessary infrastructure for this already exists. The investor is ready to invest 32.4 billion rubles in a new enterprise.
