The Federal Air Transport Agency discussed the development of airports in the Irkutsk region. There are eight airports in the region, and almost everyone needs reconstruction. This is stated in the message of the department.
Attention will be paid to the modernization of small airports in the Angara region. As part of the formation of the national Transport project, the possibility of including Kirensk, Ust-Kut and Yerbogachen airports in the reconstruction plan for 2025-2030 is being considered.
The prospects for the development of the Ust-Ilimsk air harbor are outlined — thanks to the work carried out by the regional government, at the end of 2023 it was included in the state register of airfields and heliports of Russian civil aviation.
