The Yartsevsky Metallurgical Plant (YAMZ, part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK)) and the administration of the Yartsevsky District municipality of the Smolensk Region have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of socio-economic development of the district. As part of the agreements, the company's investments during the year will amount to 15 million rubles. This is stated in the message of TMK.
The document is aimed at consolidating the efforts of the plant and the administration for the sustainable functioning of the social sphere of the municipality, including the development of social infrastructure, landscaping, improving the quality of life of the population, strengthening the physical health of residents, organizing events in the field of youth policy, improving the business environment.
TMK is a supplier of steel pipes, pipe solutions and related services for various sectors of the economy. TMK manufactures threaded pipes, including special pipes and piping systems, and other products for the energy, chemical industry, mechanical engineering, construction and other industries. TMK shares are traded on the Moscow Stock Exchange.
