The amount of the annual allowance to foster parents has been increased in the Moscow region, the press service of the Ministry of Social Development of the region reports.
"This year, foster parents and guardians will receive an annual allowance for children in the increased amount of 41,953 rubles. The money will be credited to the account of all foster parents and guardians automatically in March, while the family does not need to submit any applications," said Irina Kaklyugina, Vice–governor of the Moscow region.
According to her, more than 15 thousand people will receive the payment this year.
Previously, the amount of the payment was 38 thousand rubles.
In addition, orphans in the Moscow region are provided with their own housing as part of the implementation of the program of the governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov. To date, the Moscow region remains the leader among the regions of the Russian Federation in providing orphaned children with apartments.
