The Russian developer of digital solutions for government and business, Sitronics Group, supported the events of the II festival of the Technocode University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform, which is taking place this year at the entrepreneurial boiling point of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and at the sites of 68 universities across the country.

A major block of the festival was the meeting of university technology project funders with representatives of University venture funds in the Speed Dating format. The Sitronics Group expert took part in the event, as the company, in partnership with the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs, is the founder of the Lozino-Lozinsky partnership for investing in university technology startups. Pitching participants presented their projects and developments to potential investors.

Ekaterina Davydochkina, Deputy Director of the Strategy and M&A Department, noted that Sitronics Group, as one of the university venture funds, is interested in high-tech projects in areas complementary to business. For example, these are projects and DeepTech startups in the field of space and aerospace technologies. The company specializes in creating digital products for various sectors of the economy. One of the innovative areas of activity is the creation of services based on space data.

For the "Demo-day on the contrary" block, Sitronics Group, together with the country's leading technology companies, prepared cases and pitched to young people who took up their solutions. Yuri Ilyin, Director of the Digital Services Department of Sitronics Group, said that the task for the student teams from the company was to develop a comprehensive maritime analytics system. This analysis of traffic data creates opportunities for solving critical tasks: from forecasting prices and shortages, to monitoring compliance with environmental legislation and calculating greenhouse gas emissions. Tracking ships on waterways is necessary for many areas, including maritime safety, monitoring compliance with maritime regulations, transport and trade, contributes to reducing pollution of the world's oceans, and the conservation of biological resources.

Sitronics Group is engaged in the creation of remote sensing services for the earth, developing a Russian cloud service of the SiAIS satellite automatic identification system for monitoring the fleet in the world ocean. In addition, the company is actively expanding its own civilian satellite constellation to increase the frequency of updates and the amount of data transmitted. By the end of this year, Sitronics Group plans to increase it to 80 AIS satellites and 7 optical remote sensing devices. Therefore, the participants of the festival were offered a case study for the development of a computer vision and data processing system for determining ships and their movements on waterways.
