The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided to extend the validity period of the anti-dumping duty for ferrosilicon manganese from Ukraine imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union for five years.

The decision was made following the results of a repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated by the EEC Department of Internal Market Protection on June 25, 2021 in connection with the expiration of the applicable measure. The investigation was conducted on the basis of the application of such producers of goods from the EAEU, as JSC "Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Combine" and LLC "West Siberian Electrometallurgical Plant. The statement was also supported by the Taraz Metallurgical Plant LLP, Temirtau Electrometallurgical Combine JSC and Aksu Ferroalloy Plant – a branch of TNK Kazchrome JSC.

The analysis of the information received made it possible to conclude about the possibility of resuming dumping imports of goods and causing damage to the economic sector of the Union upon termination of the anti-dumping measure.
