In April 2024, the chemical laboratory of the Berezovskaya GRES branch of PJSC Unipro successfully passed the procedure for confirming the competence of an accredited person in accordance with the accreditation criteria and requirements of the interstate standard GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories). The corresponding order was received from the Federal Accreditation Service.
The inspection took place remotely, but was equated to an on-site examination. Through a video recording made according to the instructions of the accrediting body, the Berezovskaya GRES laboratory demonstrated the performance of control tasks. The expert group also checked the technical equipment of the laboratory, the level of staff training, the availability of documented procedures and their execution.
The experts noted the professionalism of the staff, as well as the high level of the laboratory's management system. The next control within the framework of confirming the competence of the chemical laboratory of Berezovskaya GRES will be held next year. The plans are to master new techniques and expand the scope of accreditation.
The results obtained in the laboratory are intended for industrial environmental control aimed at performing environmental management functions at the facilities of the Berezovskaya GRES branch of PJSC Unipro; input control of raw materials and implementation of industrial sanitary and hygienic control.
