This year, within the framework of the national project "Safe high-quality Roads", more than 20 regional roads have been repaired in the Moscow region, along which you can drive to tourist attractions, the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow region reported.
"To date, thanks to the repair work carried out, convenient and safe travel to tourist places has been provided in 19 districts of the Moscow region. Road builders have updated more than 120 km of pavement on 23 regional roads, thanks to which half a million residents and guests of the region can comfortably get to popular public spaces — museums, churches, monasteries, cathedrals and estates," said Deputy Prime Minister—Minister of Transport of the Moscow region Alexey Gerzhik.
For example, in Solnechnogorsk, the pavement on the Pyatnitskoye highway was updated on the section from the village. Zhilino to the village of Barantsevo, along which you can drive to the Church of St. George and the Znamenskaya Church. In Sergiev Posad, comfortable travel was provided to St. George's Church and the cultural and historical center of the city, having repaired the section from Gorbunovskaya Street in Khotkovo to the Western Bypass. In Podolsk, the road near the Dubrovitsa estate, the Znamenskaya Church and the cultural and educational center was repaired, and in the Pushkin district - the access road to the village of Muranovo, where there are several churches, the Muranovo estate and Tyutchevsky Park. Also, repairs to tourist sites were carried out in Bogorodsky, Volokolamsk, Dmitrov, Domodedovo, Yegoryevsky, Zaraisk and Kolomna districts.
Now work is continuing on about 5 more roads, along which you can drive to places of attraction for tourists: in Istra, the paving is being completed on Sovetskaya St., which is the passage to the theater and the New Jerusalem Monastery, in Krasnogorsk, work is underway on Karbysheva St. near the Assumption Church, and in Dmitrov — on Zagorskaya St., along which you can drive to Dmitrov Kremlin, Assumption Cathedral, museums and other attractions of the historical center.
