The net profit of EN+ Group in 2025 decreased by 82.6% to $235 million compared to $1.348 billion in 2024, mainly due to the metallurgical segment. This is stated in the company's message.
Revenue increased by 20.8% to $17.703 billion. The increase was primarily due to a 16.4% increase in primary aluminum sales to 4.49 million tons and a 5.2% increase in the weighted average selling price of aluminum per ton.
Adjusted EBITDA fell by 7.8% to $2.7 billion, which was mainly due to an outstripping increase in operating expenses compared to revenue.
The volume of capital expenditures increased by 16.2% to $2.182 billion. The investments were aimed at developing and maintaining assets to ensure their continuous operation. In the metallurgical segment, investments were directed towards the environmental modernization of plants, while in the energy segment, investments were directed towards the construction of new generating capacities to cover the energy shortage in southeastern Siberia.
Aluminum production decreased by 1.9% to 3.918 million tons as part of the planned capacity optimization. Alumina production increased by 6.7% to 6.858 million tons.
Generation at hydroelectric power plants decreased by 11.4% and amounted to 65.3 billion kWh, due to reduced water content. The group's total electricity generation decreased by 9.6% to 82 billion kWh, but the impact of the decrease in generation was largely balanced by rising electricity prices.
EN+ is a producer of aluminum and electric power. The company combines electric generating assets with an installed capacity of 19.5 GW (including 15.2 GW of hydropower assets) and aluminum production facilities with an annual capacity of 3.9 million tons (through a controlling stake in UC RUSAL), which are the main consumers of EN+ hydropower.
