Passenger traffic on the Moscow Railway in January-September 2025 increased by 1.5% to 597.2 million compared to a year earlier. This is stated in the company's message.
In particular, passenger traffic in the suburban area increased by 2% to 575 million.
Passenger turnover increased by 1.4% and amounted to 26.9 billion passenger kilometers.
In September 2025, 69.5 million passengers were transported, which is 0.3% less than in 2024, of which 67.2 million were sent in suburban traffic, 2.3 million in long—distance traffic.
It should be recalled that passenger traffic on the Russian Railways network increased by 1.6% to 976.4 million in the first 9 months of 2025 compared to a year earlier.
