The Ministry of Finance has submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation a draft federal budget for three years, a bill on the specifics of implementing the federal budget for three years. The federal budget deficit will amount to about 2% of GDP annually. This is reported on the ministry's website.
The draft budget has been prepared based on the basic version of the forecast of socio-economic development. In order to minimize the negative impact of external factors and ensure the fulfillment of all obligations assumed, starting in 2027, it will be planned to set the base oil price at $50 per barrel.
The draft budget for the next three years, in particular, includes financing of 2 trillion rubles for the implementation of national projects to ensure technological leadership. The amount of financing for the road sector will exceed 4.4 trillion rubles.
It is envisaged that insurance pensions in 2027 will be increased twice: from February 1 by 6.8% in terms of inflation over the past year, from April 1, the insurance part of the pension will additionally be increased by 3.3% in terms of salary growth.
The budget package also contains a draft law on deferral for the regions on repayment of budget loans, the repayment dates of which fall on 2027-2029 for 2030.
