The Moscow Stock Exchange has started trading in shares of the First exchange—traded mutual investment fund (BPIF), the Artificial Intelligence Fund. This will be announced on the exchange's website.
The fund's investment strategy is focused on shares of Russian issuers. When forming a portfolio, the manager is guided by the recommendations of a multi-agent expert system based on artificial intelligence. The architecture of this AI system is based on modeling decision-making algorithms by professional portfolio managers.
The management system of the mutual Fund "First — Artificial Intelligence Foundation" is based on an architecture of four specialized AI agents. Three of them carry out independent parallel analysis of various categories of data: the competitive environment, fundamental indicators of target issuers, as well as the current news background. The fourth component, the supervisor agent, coordinates the system's operation, aggregates incoming analytical information, resolves emerging contradictions, and forms a draft portfolio structure for an exchange—traded fund. The final recommendations of the AI system are subject to mandatory verification by the portfolio manager before they are actually implemented.
Investment units of 243 funds, including 113 BPIF managed by 45 companies, are traded on the Moscow Stock Exchange stock market. Funds can be invested in stocks, bonds, gold, money market instruments, commodity assets, and derivatives for all types of assets.
