The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has extended the validity period of the anti-dumping duty on seamless steel pipes used for drilling and operating oil and gas wells originating from the People's Republic of China until October 5, 2031 inclusive.

"The decision was made following the results of a repeated anti–dumping investigation launched by the Department for the Protection of the Domestic Market on December 22, 2025, due to the expiration of the applicable measure based on an application from producers of goods from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union," said Andrei Slepnev, Minister for Trade of the EEC.

The application was submitted by Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant JSC, Pervouralsky Novotrubny Plant JSC, Volzhsky Pipe Plant JSC, Seversky Pipe Plant JSC, Taganrog Metallurgical Plant JSC, Sinarsky Pipe Plant JSC and supported by Vyksa Metallurgical Plant JSC, QazExpoCentre-Pipe LLP and KSP Steel LLP.

The anti-dumping measure against oil and gas field pipes from China was established in accordance with the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated August 18, 2015 No. 101 in the form of anti-dumping duties and price obligations. The rate ranges from 12.23 to 31.00% of the customs value, depending on the manufacturer. The measure was extended for the period of the re-investigation.
