Russian Russian Fairs Arkhangelsk, a new resident, has been registered in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (the initiator of the project is Russian Fairs LLC). Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV), the investor plans to build a large fair and entertainment complex in Arkhangelsk, in which hundreds of "merchants" will present their goods - agricultural and industrial products, decorative and applied arts. So, following an old tradition, the AZRF resident calls business partners.

Capital investments in the project are estimated at 230 million rubles. It is planned to create 38 new jobs. The tax return from the implementation of the project over 10 years will amount to 265 million rubles.

"We strive to revive fair trade in the region so that people can get acquainted with the traditions of a particular corner of our country through the products of local manufacturers and craftsmen of folk arts and crafts. The prices for the products will be available to all customers," said Leila Menshikova, General Director of Russian Fairs Arkhangelsk LLC.

Arkhangelsk has a rich fairground history. The city – the first Russian seaport, the merchant capital of Pomerania – was famous for its fairs back in the XVI-XVIII centuries. The largest fairs of the Arkhangelsk province thundered throughout Russia and far beyond its borders: Margaritinskaya – in Arkhangelsk itself, Nikolskaya and Blagoveshchenskaya – in Pinega, Kreschenskaya – in Mezen. There were many other smaller auctions that operated in almost every locality of Pomerania.

There are still large markets in the Arkhangelsk region – in the capital of the region, in Severodvinsk, in Kotlas.

The fair complex will open in the Arkhangelsk district of Mayskaya Gorka, a young and actively under construction, together with retail spaces, future tenants will immediately receive thousands of potential buyers. The complex of "Russian Fairs" will be distinguished by orderly and transparent trade and meet modern sanitary requirements.

The building, stylized as an Old Russian fortress, will house 320 trade pavilions-"teremov" with an area of 20 sq. m. m everyone. Their location will also be traditional: in the center – a large fairground, around – shopping malls. Warehouses will also be equipped.

In addition, the complex provides places for a gastromarket, cafes and restaurants, a stage, an ice rink, event and children's playgrounds, attractions. The new Arkhangelsk fair will host holidays, festivals, workshops, theatrical performances, business and educational events. The investor company will also improve the territory adjacent to the fair complex.

The project involves the use of an IT platform developed by the company - it supports communication between entrepreneurs and buyers (through it, for example, you can sell products in bulk, organize an auction, get recommendations for the best price, promote goods), tenants and landlords. The platform allows you to implement electronic document management, automate a significant part of business processes, get a bank loan and use it right there on the platform, insure goods and so on.

"Tenants of the fair complex will have access to cash and settlement services, acquiring services, legal support and others thanks to the "branded" platform of Russian Fairs. As a result, each of the entrepreneurial projects will receive effective logistical support," Leyla Menshikova noted.

"It is planned to allocate a plot of 40 thousand square meters in the city for construction, so that as many local residents and guests of Arkhangelsk as possible could visit the fair. According to the schedule, from the third quarter, the investor will begin design and survey work, it is planned to start construction and installation work in 2024," said the deputy director of the Department of support for the implementation of investment projects of the KRDV Vladimir Gudkov.

According to the KRDV, to date, the number of projects implemented in the Arkhangelsk region by residents of the Russian Arctic has reached 175. The total amount of declared investments is about 110 billion rubles, it is planned to create 5.6 thousand jobs. Residents have actually invested 12.2 billion rubles and created almost 1.9 thousand jobs, 55 projects have already been successfully implemented.
