Australian Nanoveu acquires Singapore-based semiconductor manufacturer Embedded A.I. Systems

The Australian technology company Nanoveu Limited has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Embedded A.I. Systems Pte. Ltd. (EMASS), a Singapore-based developer of semiconductor systems on a chip (System-on-Chip, SoC). This is reported in the Nanoveu press release.

The deal is in line with Nanoveu's strategy to accelerate growth in advanced semiconductor solutions based on artificial intelligence, taking into account demand in the markets of unmanned vehicles and aircraft, medical devices, robotics and smart home systems.

The agreement was signed after shareholder approval and completion of due diligence. Nanoveu plans to integrate ultra-low-power SoC EMASS technology into the EyeFly3D platform to enhance real-time 3D transformation capabilities.

The value of the transaction is determined by future performance indicators in accordance with the interests of shareholders. The EMASS architecture with ultra-low energy consumption will allow Nanoveu to expand its offerings to reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. Through the deal, Nanoveu will join the ranks of advanced semiconductor manufacturers, including Ambiq, Syntiant and ETA Compute.

Nanoveu Limited is a technology company developing and selling nanotechnology applications for consumer devices in North and South America and Asia. The company offers Nanoshield antivirus protection, which is available in the form of various protective films for mobile phone screens, as well as in the form of commercial films for various surfaces. EMASS is a Singapore—based technology company developing advanced SoC solutions for ultra-low-power data processing based on artificial intelligence in smart devices and Internet of Things applications. The headquarters is located in Singapore.
