The Russian government has partially lifted the ban on the export of diesel fuel from the Russian Federation. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The decision was made in compliance with the agreements between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, which entered into force on October 10, the Cabinet of Ministers emphasizes.

This will make it possible to supply 500 thousand tons of diesel fuel to the world market at this stage.

This will not affect the interests of Russian consumers. Diesel fuel in the Russian Federation is produced from Russian oil at domestic refineries. The production volumes make it possible to fully ensure both the domestic market and supplies in these volumes to the global market, said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, quoted on the website.
