The Expert RA rating agency has recognized MTS as the leader among telecommunications industry companies in the ESG transparency ranking of Russian companies and banks by the end of 2025. This is stated in the company's message.
The company took the seventh place in the rating out of more than 120 positions. The Expert RA ranking evaluates the completeness and quality of information disclosure on sustainable development in four areas: environmental responsibility, social policy, corporate governance, and non-financial information disclosure practices. 203 companies were included in the new ranking of 120 places. MTS took a high position in it, receiving 1.88 points, which significantly exceeds the market average of 1.08 points. This is the highest indicator among companies in the telecommunications industry.
PJSC Mobile TeleSystems (MTS, TIN 7740000076), together with its subsidiaries, serves about 100 million cellular subscribers. The authorized capital of MTS is 199.84 million rubles (1998381575 outstanding ordinary registered shares).
In March 2025, the AK&M Rating Agency confirmed MTS' highest sustainability rating on the national A++ scale. In addition, according to RA AK&M, by the end of 2024, MTS is among the leaders of the fifth ranking of responsibility to society and the fifth ranking of the carbon footprint of the largest Russian companies.
MTS' profit under IFRS for the first half of 2026 increased 9.6 times to 74 billion rubles from 7.69 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue increased by 11.8% to 414.73 billion rubles from 370.9 billion rubles, and operating profit increased by 25% to 89.2 billion rubles from 71.26 billion rubles.
