VisionLabs is entering the Indian market. The new office in New Delhi will support projects in South Asia and strengthen cooperation with local companies. This is stated in the company's message.
The main reasons for the development of the VisionLabs business in India were the annual growth of the country's economy, as well as the low saturation of the market with technologies based on computer vision. The most popular VisionLabs solutions here can be systems of a safe city, traffic control and traffic regulations, as well as face-to-face payment services. The company is also considering the refinement of existing products taking into account the local market – for example, adding the recognition of the presence of helmets for motorcyclists in transport video analytics or adapting remote verification for cash delivery services at home.
The company plans to develop engineering competencies in the new project office, as well as expand partnerships with local integrators. VisionLabs is already conducting several projects with local partners and discussing the possibility of implementing AI solutions in various regions of India with key clients - from airports and municipalities to the country's main IT corporations.
