The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) received the "Technology Award" in the nomination "The best innovative initiative for working with startups." The diploma for a fresh look at the company's interaction with startups and the creation of effective conditions for their growth was awarded to the Scientific and Technical Center (STC) TMK. This is stated in the company's message.
As part of its work with startups, STC TMK reviews the proposals of young technology companies and scientists, evaluates their applicability and determines the prospects for use on production sites. Among the areas of cooperation are industrial automation, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, ecology, energy efficiency, quality control solutions and other areas in demand at TMK enterprises.
The TMK Scientific Accelerator has become the main tool for searching and selecting initiatives. Innovators present their developments through an acceleration program, after which experts from STC TMK assess their potential and compare them with the current technological challenges of the enterprises. This approach allows us to refine and test solutions in real production conditions, increasing the level of technological readiness of developments and creating opportunities for their further implementation and scaling both within TMK and at partner enterprises.
The Technology Award, established by the Moscow Government and the BEAC, is held annually for all participants in the innovation market. This year, about 2,000 applications from 76 regions of Russia have been submitted for the award.
