Since December 9, 2024, the Moscow Exchange has been transferring shares, bonds and mutual fund units from the sector of high investment risk companies (PIR) to the main trading mode. This is stated in the message of the exchange.

The PIR sector as a separate technological trading mode will be removed from the trading and clearing system of the Moscow Stock market.

At the same time, the sector itself will continue to perform its main function – to inform investors about the increased risks of certain traded instruments included in the third level of the Moscow Exchange listing. Securities from the PIR sector will, as before, be marked with the Y value in the "Increased investment risk" field of the "Financial Instruments" table of the stock market trading system.

Shares, bonds and units included in the PIR sector remain available to qualified investors, as well as upon passing the appropriate testing.

The sector of companies with increased investment risk is a set of securities from the third level of listing, in respect of which the exchange decided to include in the sector, including limiting the list of acceptable trading modes in order to reduce the risks of financial losses to investors from the purchase of securities with an uncertain level of investment risk at the exchange's auctions, as well as securities previously securities included in the sector of uncertain investment risk.
