The trading volume on the Moscow Stock Exchange in December 2024 reached 142.3 trillion rubles. This is stated in the message of the exchange.

The trading volume of shares, depositary receipts and units amounted to 3.8 trillion rubles. In 2024, 13 IPOs and 4 SPOs with a total volume of 87.5 billion rubles took place on the stock exchange.

The trading volume of corporate, regional and government bonds amounted to 4.3 trillion rubles. In December, 130 bond loans worth 3.3 trillion rubles were placed on the stock exchange, including the placement of one-day bonds worth 264.5 billion rubles.

In 2024, 78 new issuers of debt securities entered the Moscow Exchange bond market with a total placement volume of 242 billion rubles. Last year, 247 companies placed 759 bond issues worth 8.44 trillion rubles. excluding one-day bonds.

The trading volume on the futures market reached 11.9 trillion rubles. Brokerage companies, private and institutional investors received 35 new instruments, the base assets of which were stocks, non-ferrous metals and foreign indices. The total trading volume of new derivatives amounted to 95 billion rubles. Cocoa futures have become the most popular new contracts.

The volume of trading on the money market amounted to 110 trillion rubles, the average daily volume of transactions was 5 trillion rubles. In particular, the volume of repo transactions with the central counterparty amounted to 40.1 trillion rubles, the volume of repo transactions with clearing certificates of participation – 39.8 trillion rubles.
