In particular, deposits of the population increased by 3.7% to 46651 billion rubles, funds in the accounts of legal entities subject to insurance increased by 21.7% to 8748 billion rubles. A significant increase is associated with the start of insurance in March 2024 for medium-sized enterprises, socially oriented non-profit organizations and trade unions.
The average amount of an individual's contribution has increased by 5.9% (or 19 thousand rubles) since the beginning of 2024. up to 343 thousand rubles .
The current limits of insurance compensation are 1.4 million and 10 million rubles. They provide full protection to 97.6% of depositors of existing banks.
