Yandex has created a business group of Plus and Fintech. It includes Kinopoisk, Yandex Music, Yandex Afisha, Yandex Plus, as well as the fintech direction of Yandex. This was announced by the company.
These services have similar business solutions and common goals: they all link key Yandex services with end-to-end scenarios. The merger will allow developing the services of the business group centrally, and it will be easier for the business units that are part of it to create joint products under a single management.
The new business group will be headed by Artem Savinovsky, CEO of Yandex LLC, who will combine both positions. Dmitry Pirogov will become the head of fintech services.
In addition to the Plus and Fintech groups, Yandex already has a business group for Search, advertising and cloud services, as well as an E-com and ridetech business group. They were also created as an association of units similar in meaning, tasks and mechanics of development.
