In December, Aeroflot, together with Pulkovo Airport and the Biometric Technology Center, successfully tested the Migom service, which provides pre-flight biometric checks without presenting a passport.
Aeroflot, with the participation of its subsidiary IT company AFLT-Systems, implemented a set of technical improvements on the airline's website as soon as possible and implemented integration with the ESIA and the Unified Biometric System. Cryptographic protection of the service is provided by CryptoPro software.
Passengers will be able to activate the service in advance on the Aeroflot website and using biometrics.:
- check in for a flight at the airport;
- go to the "clean" area of the airport;
- to board the aircraft at the gate.
The next stage is to prepare for the launch of the service with the elaboration of regulatory regulations by government agencies. It is expected that the first passengers will be able to use the Migom service in the second half of 2026.
The Migom aircraft boarding service is implemented on the basis of the state Unified Biometric system. Passengers will always be able to choose how to board the aircraft – using their passport or biometrics.
