On September 15-16, Magnitogorsk will host the 15th international conference "WIRE FASTENERS", where participants will discuss current issues of the hardware industry development, as well as get acquainted with the production capabilities of the MMK-METIZ Magnitogorsk Hardware and Calibration Plant (OJSC MMK-METIZ, part of the MMK Group).
The organizers of the event are the Prommetiz Association and the Metal Supply and Sales Institute. Among the main topics of the forum are the dynamics of consumption of hardware products; production, technology and quality of Russian–made hardware products; import substitution opportunities in the Russian hardware market; the hardware manufacturing equipment market.
The plenary session of the conference will be held on the basis of the sanatorium MMK "Jubilee". MMK-METIZ representatives will tell the conference participants about the production capabilities and product line innovations of their company, which occupies a leading position in the hardware market of the country.
MMK-METIZ is in the top 2 of the rating of the largest manufacturers of hardware products in Russia, compiled by the Metal Supply and Sales magazine. The company promptly responds to the demands of key sectors of the economy, modernizing production facilities and developing new types of products. Representatives of Magnitogorsk State Technical University named after G.I. Nosov are scheduled to speak at the conference. They will talk about the creation of a competence center for the hardware industry as part of the development of the scientific and innovative ecosystem of the university, as well as the activities of the youth laboratory for engineering advanced technologies of hardware production, created with the support of MMK-METIZ.
On the second day of the conference, the participants will visit the industrial site of the hardware and calibration plant, where they will be shown the production lines and innovative products of the enterprise. The program of the second day also includes a tour of the city resort "Attraction".
