The digital platform for companies and individuals Sberbank (part of the Sber ecosystem) and the Astra Group of companies (developer of the Russian Astra Linux operating system) have signed a long-term strategic partnership agreement.
Companies expect that partner projects will bring 6.7 billion rubles. revenue by the end of 2024.
The signing took place within the framework of the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR) conference in Nizhny Novgorod. The conference is held to deepen cooperation between the state and business on the development of the digital economy, digital transformation of industry, the implementation of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation", the development of Russian high-tech exports and cybersecurity.
As part of the partnership, Sberbank will organize a presentation, pilot implementations and sales of Astra Linux throughout Russia. In addition, the company will undertake to collect the wishes of enterprises and individual users to finalize the solutions of the Astra Group of Companies, including compatibility with other Russian systems. This work will help to form a list of specific additions and updates to the products of the Astra Group, taking into account the real requirements of the market.
Sberbank's products for electronic document management, counterparty checks, reliability checks of individuals, personnel electronic document management and services for the self-employed are fully compatible with the Astra Linux operating system. Earlier in April 2022, Sberbank became the Golden Partner of the Astra Group of Companies.
Industry companies, the financial and banking sector are now actively switching to domestic software, and are planning import substitution. The agreement on strengthening cooperation between Astra Group of Companies and the leading integrator Sberbank will allow us to implement large projects faster and more efficiently, increase competencies, accumulate our experience for the development of the Russian IT sector, preserve the stability and competitiveness of domestic enterprises and the economy as a whole
