On September 18, in the press center of MIA "Russia Today", the Charitable Foundation "Sistema" together with the Russian Society "Knowledge" with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the MTS digital ecosystem launched the autumn season of the educational project "Open Lessons about Technologies and professions of the Future" - a series of video tutorials aimed at introducing schoolchildren and students to advanced Russian technologies and relevant professions in various sectors of the economy. The participants of the press conference discussed how career guidance helps young people choose a career path - and how cooperation between educational organizations and business makes career guidance projects more effective. An online lesson with Sitronics Group will introduce schoolchildren and students from all over the country to the transport technologies of the future.
Together with scientists and representatives of the country's leading companies, schoolchildren and students will get acquainted with promising professions and technologies that are already creating our future. As part of a series of online lessons, the leading studios of the Russian Society "Znanie" - schoolchildren, students, young scientists and specialists – will talk about modern technologies in the field of IT, pharmaceuticals and genetics, e–commerce and energy, as well as show the best practices of Russia in the field of high technologies by examples of leading companies.
"Today, technologies are developing rapidly, new areas of activity are emerging, in which professionals are already needed. It is important to tell young people about emerging niches so that they can assess the prospects for the future and build their career trajectory. Lessons are content not only for young people, but also created together with them. Presenters, special correspondents who go to modern Russian enterprises and laboratories are schoolchildren and students who ask questions interesting to them and their peers – how production works, how this or that technology works, who should go to study to work in a new industry. Our joint task with the Charitable Foundation "Sistema" in this project is to show the children that many opportunities for self–realization and development are open to them," said Dmitry Rybalchenko, First Deputy General Director of the Russian Society "Knowledge".
The lessons will be interesting not only for schoolchildren and students who will be able to get acquainted with the professions in demand on the labor market, find out where to continue their studies, and get acquainted with the country's largest employers – the MTS digital ecosystem, Segezha Group, ERSO electrotechnical holding, BESK JSC, Etalon Group, MEDSI Group, CLT-Development, Natura Siberica, Binnopharm Group, Sistema-Biotech, Sitronics Group, etc., but also to teachers who will be able to use Lessons as methodological materials for the preparation of career guidance classes in schools, colleges and universities.
"Open lessons about technologies and professions of the future" is a product that we created with the leading employers of our country. This is high-quality educational content for schoolchildren and college students and at the same time useful didactic material for teachers themselves. Young scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences and RAO, specialists and heads of Russian companies took part in filming the Lessons. The hosts of the visiting stories – graduates of the Elevator to the Future project – visited production sites, closed laboratories, and the very heart of Russian companies. A large and interesting preparatory work turned out. Now the product of such joint activities will be available to all educational organizations in large cities and small villages of our country," said Larisa Pastukhova, President of the Sistema Charitable Foundation, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, corresponding Member of the RAO.
The unique format of the lessons, which involves filming at advanced production facilities and in modern laboratories of the largest companies in the country, will allow young viewers to learn how production works, how this or that technology works, who should go to study to work in a new industry, and in the future – consciously approach the choice of a professional path. For example, an online lesson with Sitronics Group will introduce schoolchildren and students from all over the country to the transport technologies of the future. The company implements innovative projects in the transport sector: develops unmanned navigation, creates simulators for training operators of autonomous vessels, builds passenger electric vessels and develops a network of charging stations for electric vehicles.
The participants of the press conference noted the special role of career guidance in the professional and personal self-determination of young people and its special role in educational work with the younger generation.
"Career guidance has a huge educational potential. That is why the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation pays special attention to the work on career guidance in schools, both as part of extracurricular activities and the system of additional education. It is especially important for us that today not only the professional community of teachers is actively involved in our work, but also partners from companies in the commercial sector and state corporations who see the future of their productions in schoolchildren and students. We thank our colleagues from the Sistema Foundation, who together with their partners create such wonderful and useful, in our opinion, content within the framework of the career guidance project "Elevator to the Future". And it is very important that "Open Lessons about technologies and professions of the future" are being created together with the largest educational organization of the country – the Russian Society "Knowledge", – First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Alexander Bugaev addressed the participants of the press conference.
Recall that the first Open lesson was held on the eve of the summer holidays. The All-Russian online lesson was devoted to advanced technologies in the field of hydrogen energy. Specialists of the Center for Hydrogen Technologies of AFK Sistema told and clearly showed the audience why hydrogen is the most environmentally friendly and safe type of fuel today, how Russian companies are introducing new technology, where to go to study or retrain to get a promising profession in the field.
By the end of 2023, the project will host 10 online lessons. The broadcasts will take place in the VKontakte social network communities and on the websites of the Russian Society "Knowledge" and the flagship educational project of the Charitable Foundation "Sistema" – "Elevator to the Future". Each lesson will be accompanied by thematic quizzes, participating in which participants will be able to consolidate the material received. The most attentive will receive valuable prizes – Ozon certificates for the purchase of books and other things for study and leisure. The hosts and guests of the studio will tell in detail about the rules of contests and sweepstakes.
