German companies Mahle GmbH and Schott Pharma AG are considering the possibility of an IPO of Indian companies worth $ 400 million each in order to increase the value of assets. This is reported by foreign media.

Schott Pharma and Mahle have attracted investment banks to place shares in Schott Pharma India Pvt. and the Indian division of Mahle.

In September, India became the world's largest market for raising funds for IPOs through the sale of shares in Jio Platforms Ltd. amid a slowdown in activity in other markets, including the United States, due to investor caution. The Indian divisions of several global companies are trading at a significantly higher price than their foreign subsidiaries, which makes it possible to increase value through the sale of local shares.

Schott Pharma India is the Indian division of the German manufacturer of glass packaging Schott Pharma for the pharmaceutical industry and medical institutions. Schott Pharma is headquartered in Mainz (Germany) with offices in 14 countries. The market value is $4 billion.

Mahle GmbH is a manufacturer of automotive products (filters, engine components and temperature control systems). The company is one of the three largest global suppliers and owns 11 production sites with 5,000 employees. The headquarters is located in Stuttgart (Germany).
