The AK&M rating agency has assigned PJSC NK Rosneft a RESG 1 non-financial reporting rating, the highest level of disclosure of information on sustainable development. This is the first time an oil company has received a rating. Rosneft was awarded a high score (92.4 points) based on the results of the review of the Sustainability Report for 2025.

The document marks the twentieth anniversary since the publication of such reports began in 2007. The 2025 report, prepared under the slogan "Responsible Business," reflects the oil company's approach to combining economic efficiency with social and environmental responsibility.

Rosneft is one of the country's largest employers. The company employs more than 320 thousand people. The key goals of the company are to ensure decent work, high pay and caring for employees. The Report confirms Rosneft's high social responsibility: the HR policy is aimed both at professional growth of staff and at providing comprehensive support. Special attention is paid to the internal training system based on the transfer of experience and mentoring. At the same time, the company actively cooperates with higher and secondary specialized educational institutions to train personnel and implement joint innovative projects.

A significant part of the document is devoted to innovative development. The scale of this activity allows us to speak about it not only as a driver of the corporation's development, but also as an important factor in ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country.

A separate section of the Report tells about Rosneft's unprecedented research and development activities in the Far North. Key projects include support for scientific expeditions, research on the genome of northern animals, climate monitoring, educational initiatives, as well as the development of unique technologies and the construction of innovative infrastructure to work in Arctic conditions.

The company pays great attention to ensuring high-quality products and services for its customers. The Report details the company's efforts to bring fuel and other products in line with the highest safety standards. In addition, the work on the development of the gas engine fuel market and a network of electric charging stations for cars is reflected.

The structure and layout of the Report are designed for easy study: key theses are highlighted in color, and descriptions of initiatives are supplemented with links to detailed materials on the corporate website. The navigation bar on each page provides a quick transition between sections, and all statistical data and tables of compliance with international standards are included in the appendices.

The rating of non-financial reporting was assigned based on the methodology adopted by the AK&M Rating Agency.

The ESG reporting rating has been calculated by the AK&M Rating Agency since 2020. The research focuses on the completeness of the presentation of information on sustainable development in reports, as well as its accessibility. The study examines 97 markers. The main purpose of the rating is to show the professional community the best practices in disclosing information about the social and environmental activities of companies.
